For over 25 years, BABEC has helped build a diverse, skilled STEM workforce by providing educators with the resources, training, and professional networks to inspire the next
generation of biotechnology professionals.

With strong roots in San Francisco Bay Area schools, BABEC’s open-source, hands-on, inclusive science programs are being adopted by high school teachers across the country to connect a growing number of students to bioscience career pathways.
