Day 4: Career Exploration in Biotech

In this one day lesson, students explore how biotechnology is applied to accomplish different goals in a wide range of areas such as agriculture, manufacturing, and medicine. After reviewing examples of products including golden rice and plastic alternatives, students conduct independent research on the website https://www.biotech-careers.org/ to learn more about biotech companies and careers of interest to them.
